Stonehenge donates retail space for fundraiser
September 26th, 2014 – Stonehenge Partners is donating its new glass retail property at 555 Sixth Avenue to a new cancer awareness cause.
On Oct. 7 & 8, the space will be the venue for in launching ______:CANCER!SM . Two days of events will feature free fitness classes (donations will be accepted) taught by an all-star line-up of instructors from popular gyms around the city, including Jenn Seracuse of FLEX Studios and female impersonator, Destiny Devine, who will teach a Beyoncé-inspired dance class.
A private VIP event on the morning of October 7 will be hosted at Facebook’s NYC offices.
Along with the marketing company Saxon/Hart and brokerage firm Dane Professional Consulting Group, sponsor Stonehenge Partners will host the public event at 555 Sixth Avenue.
Designed and built by Stonehenge as a companion to its adjacent high-end rental property at 101 West 15th Street, 555 Sixth Avenue is a newly constructed 19,000 s/f retail property that features an all glass, 200 ft. long storefront facing Sixth Avenue. BFX Fitness has leased 10,000 s/f of the space for its New York flagship fitness facility and FIKA, a Swedish chocolate and espresso bar, will soon occupy 1,300 s/f.
Funds raised at the ______:CANCER!SM launch will be used to offset hospital expenses for Will Lanier, a young, prominent figure in the NYC fitness community recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
Will is currently the General Manager of top area gym, Brick New York, and is also a contributor to many national men’s lifestyle, fashion and fitness magazines.
